about

The most somber track on the album, 'Existence' was written on one desperate winter day when unconsciousness felt brighter than consciousness. The song was inspired lyrically by John Keat's sonnet 'To Sleep' and John William Waterhouse's painting 'Sleep and his Half-Brother Death.'

lyrics

How do you feel? How do you feel tonight?
How do you breathe with all of the lights out?
Sleep, my brother, won’t you heal me,
close my eyes and whisper softly.
oh/ I’m already dead (existence)

Under the sky, under a sky turned black,
everything dies, everything’s breaking.
Down below is waiting for me,
I can see my body falling,
oh/ I’m already dead (existence)
